Willis-Knighton Health Labor and Delivery – The Nest Branding Transformation

Orcutt | Winslow played a pivotal role in the transformation of Willis-Knighton Health System’s labor and delivery units spread across three campuses. Surveys were conducted among local mothers and mothers-to-be to better understand what amenities would improve their patient experience. In response, Willis-Knighton Health introduced The Nest, a program offering services designed with a family-friendly, residential style that reinforces the overall hospitality of Willis-Knighton Health.

The primary goal of this project was to establish a cohesive health system branding and color scheme for The Nest, ensuring a luxurious experience for families and expectant mothers alike. The labor delivery unit now features dedicated operating rooms for cesarean sections, ensuring a safe environment for surgical deliveries. Additionally, fold-out or slide-apart couches have been installed to accommodate overnight guests, providing a comfortable stay for family members. The ambiance is further enhanced by artwork and photography from local artists, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere.

This collaborative rebranding effort led by our team has significantly enhanced the labor and delivery experience, with a strong focus on safety, comfort, and celebration.
