Valley View Leadership Academy

Timelessness. An ideal centered in the design of Valley View Leadership Academy’s addition that served as a driving force for our architects to create the new standard for next generation learning spaces. This phased project welcomes two new two-story classroom wings, administration space, and a media center to the campus designed to withstand and acclimate to everchanging curriculum and teaching methods. Divided by grade level, the first floor of the classroom wings include space for administration, K-2nd grade classrooms, and flex spaces designed to function for multiple activities. The second floor serves 3-8 grades with two science labs and a centralized media center that is accessible to the public and can be secured when the school is not in use.

In addition to these advanced classroom spaces, flex areas have been strategically placed throughout the building to provide collaborative small group environments and spaces for individual study. By demolishing the existing campus, the second phase provides new field space, staff parking, and a bus drop-off. The school’s overall focus on coding and other programming-related curriculum led the design of these spaces to have an emphasis on technology and its supporting needs.
