Tucson Medical Center, Rincon Ambulatory Surgery Center

Tucson Medical Center, recognizing the growing need for access to surgical services in the area, collaborated with fifteen surgeons in 2020 to develop the concept for this ASC. Spanning 17,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art facility houses four surgical operating rooms and fifteen pre-op/recovery bays and is the first Ambulatory Surgery Center of its kind in Southeast Tucson.

This ASC is multi-specialty and will initially offer Adult and Pediatric General Surgery, Urology and Orthopedics. Physicians are able to schedule procedures more conveniently, assemble teams of specially trained and highly skilled staff, ensure that the equipment and supplies being used are best suited to their techniques, and design facilities tailored to their specialties and to the specific needs of their patients.
