Bold New Office Environments Reflective of Navajo Heritage
Navajo Nation Administration Complex
Orcutt | Winslow designed two 35,000 square-foot, two-story office buildings in Window Rock, Arizona, the Governmental seat for the Navajo Nation. Serving as headquarters for numerous departments, these buildings provide the Nation with bold new office environments infused with cultural significance reflective of Navajo heritage. Staff comfort and productivity are enhanced through the use of open office and collaboration areas, all with abundant natural light and access to views. Building systems and windows are energy efficient and provide staff comfort through controllable zones. The exterior entrance is expansive and articulated to clearly mark the public entry point. Once inside, wayfinding is clear, and architectural forms and finishes reflect the cultural values of the Navajo Nation.
