Estrella Mountain Community College Performing Arts Center

The Performing Arts Center at Estrella Mountain Community College is a 29,500 SF facility with a main house for 295 patrons, separate Black Box theater, dance studio and various labs focusing on integrating digital scenography into production performances.

This facility provides the final bookend to this main student space on campus. Locating the Performing Arts Center here at the heart of the campus designates art as an integral part of the fabric of this campus. The design is inspired by the simplicity of the forms of the campus while alluding to the importance of the events that take place inside.
