Crismon High School

Crismon High School is a comprehensive, academy-based, 7-12, 3rd high school for QCUSD. Crismon High School at full build will feature up to eight, Next Gen academies in two classroom buildings supported by a comprehensive high school experience that provides arts, athletics, dual enrollment, AP opportunities for students.

Phase 1 is 190,000 SF including four initial academies:
STEM
Design & Drafting
Health Sciences & Vet. Tech.
Electrical Power Distribution
Each academy is designed to be modular and provides brain-based learning opportunities for students to engage in traditional instructional, collaborative instructional, small group breakouts and hands on learning in maker spaces. Each academy also features two science/hybrid classroom spaces, which can be either focused science instruction or regular teaching stations as needed.

Crismon High School also features unique student centered and community centered learning features built in. The heart of the school is the school commons, which features a food service common with an à la carte/coffee bar experience, which can be indoors and/or outdoors. The commons also features a full auditorium, which is also a lecture space, three teaching stations worth and could be used for a wide variety of uses such as film study, dance, drama and lectures in adding to the performing arts functions. Future expansion is also master planned for this building to evolve into a full-fledged auditorium with rigging, catwalks, and multiple line sets for full theatrical use, and dedicated drama/dance/black box functions.

Crismon High School features comprehensive athletics facilities including a three-court basketball arena, wrestling, weights, trainers and four sets of locker rooms. The school is master planned to expand academics and athletics in future phases without losing the integrity of site level organization during current and future phases. The school features JV and Varsity baseball, softball, track, tennis, volleyball and includes a dedicated turf football stadium experience master planned for a future phase.
