Hushabye Nursery stands out as a revolutionary medical facility dedicated to embracing substance-exposed babies and their caregivers. By offering a therapeutic and inclusive environment, Hushabye Nursery provides short-term medical care for infants suffering from Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS), along with integrative care and therapeutic support that ensures the best possible life outcomes from conception through childhood. This includes prenatal and postpartum support groups, inpatient nursery services, and outpatient therapies, creating a comprehensive support system for families.

Our commitment to improving pediatric healthcare is also exemplified by our work with Norton Children’s Hospital and San Jorge Children’s Hospital. The $78 million expansion of Norton Children’s Hospital in downtown Louisville introduced critical care enhancements such as the Jennifer Lawrence Foundation Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), the “Just for Kids” Critical Care Center, and two NICUs. Similarly, the 60,000 SF expansion of San Jorge Children’s Hospital involved a new emergency department, pediatric intensive care unit, pediatric oncology unit, and a new emergency generator building to support the expanded facility. Additionally, Ryan House offers a home-like setting for children with life-limiting conditions, providing respite, palliative care, and end-of-life care, thus filling a crucial gap in pediatric healthcare.
