Promenade at the Beatitudes Campus

The Beatitudes’ Campus, 23-acre, redevelopment project comprised an ambitious plan of rethinking the concept of an extended care facility. The goal of the new campus was in keeping with the Beatitudes four core values; compassion, accountability, respect and excellence. The hope was to create a place where the inherent dignity and self-worth of each person, both staff and residents, is realized to its full potential.

The redevelopment plan would help to encourage diversity, protect privacy and promote interdependence amongst all who live and visit the site. The $93 million project was structured into two major phases. The first phase, completed in 2009, consisted of three mid-rise apartment buildings and a new town center providing multiple dining venues, resident services and recreation areas. This phase also included a series of new patio homes catering to younger services. Phase two construction is expected to start by the end of 2010 and will include four mid-rise apartment buildings, and various remodels of existing buildings. At completion, the campus will encompass over 300 additional apartments and will cover the full continuum of care.
